Dietitian’s tip:

Instead of canned sweet potatoes and marshmallows, this recipe takes advantage of clean sweet potatoes, brown sugar and honey.

  1. 1/4 cup water
  2. two tablespoons brown sugar
  3. two tablespoons honey
  4. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  5. two lbs sweet potatoes (about 4 huge), peeled and reduce into wedges
  6. Cracked black pepper or chopped herb of preference (rosemary, sage or thyme), to style


Warmth the oven to 375 F. Flippantly coat a nine-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

To make the sauce, in a tiny bowl add the water, brown sugar, honey and olive oil. Whisk until eventually easy.
