Ceramic resonators manufactured by ECS Inc. International are created from high stability piezoelectric ceramics that are typically used for applications that don’t require precise timing. Ceramic resonators are used in a broad range of applications that don’t require precision timing as they are a low-cost solution for non-critical timing. Ideal applications for ceramic resonators include consumer electronics, communications, personal computing and exercise equipment. ECS Inc.’s ECS-HFR-B series of compact surface mount ceramic resonators are offered in a 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm x 1.0 mm 3-pad package. They offer a frequency range of 20 MHz ~ 30 MHz and 30.1 MHz ~ 50 MHz, tolerance of ±0.5% and stability of ±0.4% over the standard operating temperature of -20°C ~ 80°C. These electronic components are ideal for consumer electronics like TVs and cameras and clocking applications where frequency accuracy is not critical.
