The ECS Inc. MultiVolt™ series of oscillators are quartz-based fixed frequency, low jitter oscillators. They are designed to operate from a variable supply voltage of 1.6 to 3.6V or from a standard 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.0V or 3.3V supplies used in many designs. They offer better jitter and phase noise performance than MEMS- or SAW-based oscillators at a better price point. MultiVolt™ oscillators can serve multiple platforms to aide your design efforts. The ECX2-LMV is a LVDS surface mount oscillator series with MultiVolt™ capabilities. These oscillators offer sub 50fs RMS phase jitter 12 kHz to 20 MHz at 156.250 MHz and a low power consumption of 24 mA max. The ECX2-LMV oscillators operate over 2.375 V ~ 3.63 V with a stability of ±25ppm over the standard industrial operating temperature of -40°C ~ 85°C. These electronic components are ideal for SONET, broadband and FPGA applications.
